Re: time to upgrade...advice on these "lighter" setups?

I find for travel photography, lugging around heavy equipment and lots of lenses is a drag.  Currently I use a D800 with an AF-S 24-120 f/4 lens mounted as my walk about lens when I'm traveling.  If I go to old European cities, I'll drag along a 16-25 f/4 because those streets in old Europe and Asia are so narrow.  When I was living in Ankara, Turkey, I used to use a 24mm almost exclusively.  There are a lot of Roman ruins in Ankara and the 24mm was ideal for those shots.  I'll also take a 50 f/1.4 along as a "museum" lens.  I also used to take a cheap Polaroid camera along so I could photograph the guard who then would let me takes images in areas where photography is not allowed.

I ordered a Df because it is lighter than any other Nikon FX camera.  We'll see how quickly I can get used to the new interface.  Here's hoping it works like my F2 or F3.
