After upgrading the firmware and reducing the price for 490 for zoom kit (18-55) this camera is the best choice for those who wants to have in camera all options of big SLR and same time small size and low weight. Cameras of 4/3 format with same IQ twice more expensive. Focus speed still not impressive, but absolutely acceptable (majority of entry-level DSLR have the same). IQ is same like middle-level DSLR. Very unusual and complicated touch screen menu system requires some time to study it, but it allows you to set up a fantastic amount of parameters. I did not find option to switch off touch screen focus point selection - it is very irritative thing, and you can lose best shots due to it. 18-55 lenses with optical stabilization is surprisingly good for that price. IS works very effectively. Really, I do not understand super-inflated price and popularity of 4/3 cameras with their noisy sensors, if you can have APC-size sensor from DSLR, professional Canon image colors and small wight for half of their price.
