Interesting observation. Yes, APS-C fixed lens cameras might be a competitor to mirrorless system cameras. Lenses for system cameras tend to cost nearly as a whole camera. I am not sure though.

I can add one thing - it seems like mFT (microFourThirds) goes quite well. It has the extra momentum of being a kind of standard, which at least Olympus and Panasonic joining. Maybe more coming.

So, maybe a mFF (microFullFrame) standard when sensors become cheap enough. Would that not be cool? A bigger sensor standard that several can use. Nikon and Canon will not join of course.
