I can sum it up very easily…the A7r for Landscapes, low Light, and Indoor shots…M43 for Nature, Close Ups, and Macro...

It don't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out…I am really looking forward to the A7R just for landscapes mainly with the SSM 24mm f/2...

Yes I figured the same, but I didn't foresee that for Landscapes I would need a tripod.

Also 85mm has the meaning of Portrait. Leaving apart Legacy lenses - do you buy a 2000 $ camera to use a 100 $ lens? - you'll also notice that the new Zeisses are slow and cumbersome.

The reason I assume is to ensure telecentricity for a new format that goes against it at the root, with its short register/large sensor.

That is why I spoke of frankencameras.

Am, no way you need a tripod for 24mm on a FF?…unless you are shooting panoramas?

I shoot landscapes with RX1 all the time with no stabilization at 35mm f/8...

Either I am going blind or my Macbook getting too old, but your samples at 100% seems quite fuzzy. at least in comparison of my foliage landscapes shot with my old 9-18.

Something must be rotten in the kingdom of FF35. Or are DPR's galleries the culprit?

Those are Photomatix and reduced size…lol…check them out full size…really great landscape cam…just not wide enough...!i=2684792612&k=23BSdFR

FlickR Photostream:
Mr Ichiro Kitao, I support the call to upgrade the FZ50.
I will not only buy one but two no questions asked...
