Interesting to read that IBIS nullifies the FF 2 stop advantage but of course in bright situations, the advantage comes back.

To be clear, IBIS, VR, IS or OSS, in body or optical stabilization are only useful for static subjects. For moving subjects there is no replacement for fast shutter speeds, which is why the 2 stop advantage of the A7R is actually more of an advantage than IBIS.

Only if you shoot wide open with similar apertures. Once you start to stop down a m43s lens for DoF the ISO advantage disappears.  I rarely shoot anything wider than F4, which means F8 on the A7r. Consider you need 2-3x the focal length for the shutter speed to take advantage of the 36MP sensor (Pekka's 2.5x seems right in the middle of what I've read for various advice on the D800) you are pushing ISO pretty quickly.
