I just had a quick look at your "open bloom" galleries. Very nice work. You appear to be very sensitive to the many and varied subtleties of light.

The XTrans sensor is capable of returning very high quality results in the hands of proficient photographers. The photographer behind http://soundimageplus.blogspot.it uses the XE1/2 for landscape/scenic work which is then submitted for stock use. He speaks very highly of the XTrans files and appears to have no trouble in getting his work accepted.

...and he says this about why he does not use Adobe raw: "the main reason is to avoid the smearing / watercolour effects with green foliage that ACR conversion seems cursed with."

Check out his comparison of Photo Ninja to the OOC JPEGs and ACR that he posted today (11/11). The difference is very apparent when viewing at 100%. If you aren't picky about pixel level detail, then JPEGs or ACR are OK.
