In camera adjustments did help a little, but imho the Panasonic jpeg engine is flawed.

The GH3 and GX7 (probably, I don't have one) have much improved jpeg compared to GH1 and GH2 -- which I owned prior to GH3.  The difference compared to Oly is far less and the yellowish blotches are gone or not noticeable at normal shooting ISOs -- which for me is 3200 or lower, and seldom above 1600.
