Re: X-E2, got it, what a beast!

I had a 5R, which had the same sensor/focus as the 6, I think. The 5R 'focused' faster than my Fuji when I first got the Fuji (and the Fuji is faster now), but in low light (which is what I was usually working in), the 5R would give up and throw up the green square, while the Fuji would work until it focus on the AF point I had selected, or just fail (which was rare for the 35, but common for the 60).

I tried out a 6, but of course it had the same fiddly controls and menu I hated on the 5R, and about that time I found out about the X-E1. I tried it, loved it, and bought it immediately and sold my NEX stuff. It didn't help that Sony was saying essentially that E-mount was consumer grade, and that the good stuff would go to the A-mount, and that I didn't find the lenses they had and the ones they planned to put out at all compelling. Again, Fuji had great lenses, and understood the need to make equivalent focal lengths instead of traditional 35mm focal lengths, and was SUPPOSED to have a very fast 56 coming out. I have never regretted moving on from NEX and Sony.
