It is a "new" camera that may not be readily available yet, (but IS available for Adorama, B&H, etc.)

It has a hot-shoe, so external flash can be used, plus it has a filter-thread and can shoot RAW but that probably is not needed for basic real-estate shooting.

It is the ONLY P&S with a lens wider than 24mm. (I have a Nikon P-500 that has 22.5mm but Nikon dropped the 22.5 and went back to 24mm for their P-510 / 520.

There are several P&S with 22mm or so. But 20mm would be handy to present rooms bigger than they really are (good for the selling side).

And ya never know when that 1200mm may come in handy.

Probably not for real estate photos, but maybe for inspections (problems on the roof etc)?
