No,  the  slight tension in the composition that is cause by the elevated position of the subject in the frame gives in this case the extraordinary urge to look at it moreover and it is obvious that many here  like it that way.  Sometimes leaving the traditional paths delivers an effect that was maybe not planned but works out well as in this case.  When you crop from the bottom this "special effect" will disapear and make the pic mediocore.
