Pany 14-140 ii pretty sharp even at the long end

I've just picked up the mk2 version of the Pany 14-140 as a travel alternative to my 12-35 and 35-100 combo on the GH3, and I must say I am impressed.

So far every tele zoom I've tried in m43 has a fair degree of softening at the longer end but this superzoom seems to hold a respectable degree of sharpness all the way to 140.

This Kookaburra has taken up residence outside my house. The first shot is default Adobe ACR conversion with minimal sharpening. Stopped down a tad to F6.3.

The second is a 100% crop from the same image and the final the crop with some unsharp masking applied.

I can certainly live with this for travel purposes and think it is all the more remarkable for a 10x super zoom.
