A simple/effective PP program?

I know that there are many, many post processing programs on the market.  But I'm interested in a SIMPLE one, that might cover most of the more important/common facets of such a program.  Right now, I'm thinking some candidates might be Canon's DPP, or maybe the current Picassa version.  And FREE would be nice, but not required.

I'm not a fan of spending significant time in front of the computer.  Yet, I do want to "try" to produce good, reasonably sized, prints....my ultimate goal of all of my images.

So let's start a list.  Thanks.
