The Df is for well healed old pharts. When young I used an F2 on a number of occasions but wasn't well healed enough to own one. Today I am an old phart but still not well healed enough to justify a Df, ... though I'd like to shack-up with one for month or so. I would find the dedicated mechanical controls comforting.

I understand why that might seem unfathomable to those who were first exposed to modern digital controls. I too think those modern digital controls make for a more powerful tool.

I am an old fart (started learning photography around 1954, not sure about the well healed) and have no interest in the Df for many reasons. As I mentioned in another post, I just took out my old Canon A1, fondled it a bit and realized I have no interest in retro.
