He does have a point on the DOF argument.

I was recently thinking about going FF, but after thinking it a little more, the type of photography I do needs more DOF, so APS-C is borderline and 4/3 would be better suited for me. The only problem is that I need fast AF and low high ISO noise. I'm sticking with my K-5II for a while and see what comes out next year.

More DOF? Add a Pentax Q and the K mount adapter to your bag.

Maybe hard to find a wide angle if it is landscape / architecture you do...

Yeah, seems my needs are quite impossible to meet right now. I need low ISO noise (I frequently shoot ISO 6400), fast AF in -3EV (at least), large DOF. Seems the GX7 might be a better camera for me, but I need to test it out before taking the plunge, as I would need the 35-100 f/2.8, so the investment is high.

May I ask what you shoot? My guess would be indoor sports by the sound of it?

I mostly do ballet presentations. I live in México, so the theater conditions i.e. lighting equipment and seating arrangements are mostly bad.

The greater DOF would help me in many cases were I need to crop dancers that are somewhat close but aren't the main focus.
