Interesting... 50/50 i actually thing the K-3 did admirably when the sun sparkle it the frame... However i did have 2 very odd photos where the WB went haywire, it could have been caused by internal flare or just a hick-up, i didn't want to post about it because unless i see it happen again i doubt the vast majority of people would come across it.

I have found this to be one of my K5's Achilles heels, and that's just shooting static subjects.

I edited the shots but i like the way the camera dealt with the situation making it possibly easier to edit to perfection if you can call it that. in straight auto metering I'll bet the K-3 is better then the K-5 against bright subjects
