Minolta v Konica Minolta branding

I notice some otherwise identical D lenses with either Minolta or Konica Minolta brand on them.

Does that indicate the Konica Minolta branded lens is from a newer batch than the Minolta, or perhaps it was made for a different market?

The Dyxum database does not distinguish between them (in fact on the one listing it shows some photos with Minolta and some with Konica Minolta markings). I am looking at the "Minolta AF 75-300mm F4.5-5.6 D" (ID no. 29) as an example.
