I have a very close friend in a very high position at Nikon and the next two years are going to result in a bloodbath of sorts for Olympus, Nikon and others.

Olympus may still be around even though most analysts put them on the list of companies that will disappear in 2014. They are in serious trouble, and others are as well because the point and shoot market is collapsed while the DSLR market has suddenly become trendy for soccer mom's wanting to look professional and those like it leaving mirrorless in a curious spot.

None of this matters if you love micro 3/4 as I do. It will go on as long as there is a market but it won't be the same.

We'll all mark this post and check with you about your friend's predictions in 2015 after nothing happens and we're all talking about the new E-M3
