I just think having options when buying a camera would be a good thing. As simple as it would be to not include the EVF, I think it would have been a good move on Panasonics part to have one with and one without the EVF. At this time, there are 5 votes out of 57 that would prefer to have no EVF and pay $200 less. There are also 6 votes that would exchange the EVF for 5-axis image stabilization weather sealing (my choice) at the same price. For people with glasses (like me), EVF’s are not always that easy to use, and I doubt most people use it tilted that much. So far, this pole is pretty much exactly how I expected it to be. I also expected the few sarcastic replies, just because some people do not agree with other people’s opinions, like the two above:/ I don't use my G12 at arms length, I stabilize it in some way using the articulating display, which I like allot, too bad the GX7 does not have that either!

That being said, I think the GX7 is a very nice camera with the 12-32mm kit lens and the new 15mm, and smaller 35-100mm will be a great 3 lens system. After all reviews are out and ‘IF’ all new lenses are as good as I expect them to be, that system may be my next upgrade, even without 5-axis image stabilization or weather sealing or articulating display.

Um...unless I'm using mine wrong, the GX7 DOES have an articulating display. I also use the tilting feature ALL the time.
