What is very important is the manufacturing precision of the adapter. Adapters made by Voigtlander and Metabones for the lenses listed above are considered very precise. If the adapter length is not correct (which is the case with many other brand and no-brand adapters), the focus distance shown on the lens will not be the correct focus distance. This is usually referred to as incorrect infinity-focus, but it applies to all focus distances and all lenses.

For landscapes the adapter accuracy can be a trap, but else I think it is rather unimportant, since you focus manually.

Not only the overall length of adapter is important, its precision dictates the results you get with left and right frame focus accuracy and consistency at large aperture. The lens mount and the camera mount should be machined precisely, otherwise you can damage both lens and camera.

In short you simply do not attach a sub-optimal adapter which the average person would describe as c*** on a brand new lens and camera each worth several hundred dollars.
