Is F 1.2 really that difficult ??

On a portrait with a 50/1.2!? As i said, i use a 50mm f/1.2 regularly, today included, on aps-c, and occasionally on film. If it were a 17mm f/1.2, then sure.

Depends on the portrait, that is why I mentioned framing. For passport type portraits (I shoot on FF), it is true. For half-body, f/1.2 is already OK in terms of DOF.
