Is F 1.2 really that difficult ??

This is not true even on FF,

On a portrait with a 50/1.2!? As i said, i use a 50mm f/1.2 regularly, today included, on aps-c, and occasionally on film. If it were a 17mm f/1.2, then sure.

most of the time, depending on the framing, etc. On m43, f/2.4 equivalent at wide FL's is more than enough for deep enough DOF in "environmental portraits" unless your model has a beautiful nose and you get close to make sure that the nose stands out.

We agree on that for sure.
