Nikon DX / FF fixed lens camera on its way?
This is NOT a rumor thread.. more of a hypothetical scenario post
But.. suppose a mirrorless Nikon is on its way - probably a fixed lens "bridge" sort of like Sony RX10.. and tweets suggest about a 16 megapixels
Personally, I would like to see something similar but without the huge lens range. The rumor specs point to a Nikon under 800 grams in weight. A lot, but about the same as the Sony RX-10.
The Sony RX-10 has a 28 - 200 f2.8 to a 1 inch sensor at 813 grams..
So now we have a approximate example ratio of sensor size / lens type / total package.
What lens would fit the same weight with a bigger sensor?
Would a 2.8 - 3.5 design make much size difference here?
Lets hear some lens examples that you could (would like to) build into a "bridge" with DX sensor, or a FF sensor and still come in under 800 grams total.
I lack the technical skills to work this out, but just from a wish-viewpoint - I would be very happy with a DX, 28 - 100 2.8 ... and a true swivel screen (like the D5300).
