Samsung NX20 woes

This week I took the camera on a trip to Baltimore with me. The images it produced were as good as ever in terms of quality; however, there were two things that completely ruined the shooting experience for me.

The first issue is the built-in level which is completely useless. Here is an example of how "well" it performs:

This is not the issue of calibration. When the camera is level, it shows that it's level. However, it still shows that it's level when the camera is tilted to a certain degree. I don't know if it's normal — the only other camera with a built-in level I have experience with is Sony SLT-A77 which is significantly more precise.

The other problem is much more serious. Before the lunch, I put the camera in my bag. The battery meter was full. After the lunch I took the camera out of the bag and immediately noticed that it was really hot. And it didn't want to turn on. I needed to take out and reinsert the battery. Then the camera turned on, showed me a "Battery empty" warning and promptly turned off.

Frankly speaking, this is completely infuriating. I love the image quality of NX20 and its sluggishness doesn't really bother me since I mostly shoot landscapes and cityscapes. However, if I can't trust the camera's reliability, this is a complete show stopper. Thankfully, I had my Nikon V1 with me as well and did capture some shots with it. Obviously, its image quality is much worse than that of the NX20, but it's a 100% reliable camera.

Have anyone else had the same experience with NX20 hanging and draining the battery?
