F1.2 WA lenses are certainly possible but the question is how well they will perform. The physical limitations are glass with a more or less fixed index of refraction, and the sensor size. You want to concentrate a lot of light onto a small area, and that means very oblique rays at the sensor. They will not be well recorded by the sensor first, and on their way to the sensor, they need to be refracted much more because of the sensor size and the WA, which increases aberrations, CA, etc.
