If you really think the new Sony cameras are the equivalent in size to the E-M1, then you haven't thought the system through very carefully, as the Sony lenses across the board will be heavier, larger, and more expensive than m4/3 equivalent lenses.

I think it has been amply demonstrated that if the light-gathering advantage of FF sensors are taken into account, the lenses don't have to be bigger, and actually tend to be lower cost. Of course, then you've lost much of the DOF control advantages.

The benefit of FF then becomes one of choice.

It's impossible to say what lenses will be produced for the new A-series cameras. Sony put their mount specs in the public domain though, so third parties are free to fill the gaps. Sigma has seemed both willing and able, for instance.
