FF f/2.8 zooms are obsolete

Nobody needs that much lens speed with the high ISO IQ of modern FF sensors and almost nobody needs the extra stop of DOF either, you can easily isolate a subject including a portraiture. If you really need those things then get a specialty prime lens. For everything else 24-70mm f/4 and 70-20mm f/4 is more than enough, not to mention smaller/lighter/cheaper. That's why Sony is focusing on NEX FF with f/4 zooms, because they make more sense than ginormous hulking zooms.
