For a couple of years I had been using an Olympus E-PL2 with the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 for walkabouts. Now I'm using Fuji X-M1 with the 27/2.8. The two lenses are pretty much identical even down to the same SRP (in the UK). I think that leaving the aperture ring off the 27/2.8 is a smart move.
