Will the image quality of the A65 considerably improve...

sensibill, i had a lot of cameras already and for sure i am no fanboy
and "addicted" to a special brand.
I had Nikon, still have Canon, Olympus and of course Sony equipment.
But, to be honest, the kit lens of the A65 (at least mine) doesn't do wonders.
I remember the Nikon 18-105 as a kit lens on my D5000 years ago - that
was a great lens. Also the kit lens on the Oly OMD (12-50) is a great
piece of engineering.

I am a pixel peeper - yes. Therefore i look at my files at a 100% 1:1 view
on my calibrated screen. By doing so i compare the characteristics of data
handling done by the different cameras and compare them. I must say -
IQ of my previous A57 was definitely better (well - with the Sony 18-135)
than it is with the A65's kit lens. Clearly - the 18-135 is the better lens.

So i'll wait for the Sony 16-50 to arrive. I'll post my conclusion as soon as i have
the new lens.
