Voightlander 17.5/0.95 for landscapes?

I've been considering this lens for some time. I'm heading to Nepal in a months time trekking and was interested in the low-light opportunities inside tea-houses and monasteries that 0.95 would afford.

Looking at the MTF charts though I was pleased to see that from F2.8 to around F8 the corner sharpness also appears of a very high level and pretty even across the frame...that led me to wonder how it would fare as a landscape lens especially for stitched pano's. I have the 12-35 which is excellent, but it does lack a little in the corner department at wider focal lengths so wondered if this (the 17.5) might be a nice supplement for when I want corner to corner sharpness in a moderate wide focal length.

Edit - I just came across some posts of field curvature on this lens which might put paid to my hopes, but still welcome views/experience.

Thoughts? Examples welcome?
