I'm going to be there for a few days of the end of the month. It's a fairly small town, so I imagine most of the best photo locations will be easy to find, but if anyone has been there and has any photo location tips, I'd appreciate them.
The historic or old part of town is pretty small ...things not to miss: climb the hill for sunset, night market, the running of the monks in early morning and the restaurants along the river. There are also some good photo ops around the bamboo bridges along the old town and all around the river walks.
Good breakfast at the german bakery ...other than that have fun. Day market near the post office which is definitely worth it and renting bikes, boats are options.
