Your question has been asked many times over in this forum since the camera was introduced a few years ago. Did you do a search inquiry to find your answer?

Anyway, the answer to your question is:

First batch MIJ.

Then most MIC.

Later some MIK.

Why? Does it matter to you? QC?

FWIW. I have a MIJ RX100 Mt. Fuji S.E., Sony black leather everyready case. Sony external battery charger, Magfilter..

No dust in lens as some owners have reported, or any operative issues. Very sharp lens. 6k actuations on shutter.

Good searching.

Why? Does it matter to you? To me it matters mostly because of two considerations...The country you support and quality of the product. China is considered today as japan used to be. So, moral issues and quality are my considerations.....Dan
