Canon G15
I bought my wife a D7000 to use with her 16-85mm DX af-s g which she likes very much but is afraid to bring it with her on trips outside the US; I did not like her point & shoot for a number of reasons so I bought her a Canon G15 and a SanDisk EXtreme through GEARSHOP - good price and free fast shipping. She likes this little camera: quick focus, solid feel, has a hot shoe, and she noticed immediately, the photos look better than her point & shoot.
