X-E1 vs X-A1 raws with 14/2.8

Is it just me (and maybe few other people) that see a big difference in detail between X-A1 and X-E1, with the latter producing better results? X-A1's is a little mushy while X-E1's is much finer.

If much better results can be achieved with certain RAW converters, why people immedietly complain about X-Trans even though it is really down to the software you use, as the sensor IS ABLE to deliver better results? Not to mention it has been proven over and over again.
