How old is the D100? 10 years?

Let's stick to same-generation:

D600 vs D800 (D600 has 5% better high-ISO performance. Why? Because it has less pixels, and because these pixels are bigger).

6D vs 5DIII (6D has 2% better high-ISO performance. Why? Because it has less pixels, and because these pixels are bigger).

D800 has 4.75 pixels, D600 has 5.9 micron pixels.

If 'high ISO performance' goes with pixel size the difference should be 24%

If 'high ISO performance' goes with pixel area the difference should be 54%

If 'high ISO performance' is independent of pixel area the difference should be 0%.

What is the measurement tolerance in the DxOmark results?

Is it likely that the D800 and D600 pixels are not exact scaled versions of each other?

Taking those into account, which theory better fits the observation?
