like 40 ft, when I needed 45-50, I really don't think I could have framed this guy better

This shot has zero cropping....

Oh, and here's my best shot of a Lesser Yellow legs in-flight. Pretty small, and fast....

Camera was my old T1i which occasionally decides to focus correctly..... and my 400 5.6. Love this lens.

PS, Inevitably, somebody will mention the bright white in the tail of the Yellow legs, being blown out.... but I always check these things in Lightroom, and if it has a little clipping, I recover it. I don't believe this one showed any clipping even in the original ?
