Oh dear your comparisons seem to confirm what is a growing trend of opinion , that the Bayer sensor is superior to the X-trans version.

In fact ever since the X-100 was superseded some users have been saying just that for quite some time. The change in sensor resolution from the 100 to the 100S clouded the differences but now the situation seems more clear. In a lot of the comparisons the differences are marginal but in others the Bayer seems to be better.

Us X-100 users always said that the colour looked nicer on the original X-100 and that is doesn't have any smearing. The arrival of the X-A1 confirms imo that the Bayer technology gives sharper and more pleasing pictures. This is the future of the new Fuji X-series!
