Just because of this vertical wheel and the front wheel being in front of the shutter release. I never can get used to a front wheel being that much "ahead", you always have to move the finger too much and loose grip. Also, the fact that Canon uses buttons for every setting instead of dials for metering, AF and drive has the advantage that you can store these settings in a C function while this is not possible with Nikon because these settings are adjusted directly via one dedicated button. Or am I wrong on this point? Also, I like the grips of Canon SLRs better than the coated grips of Nikons. But Nikons do look better, especially the D800 and the D4, very sexy!
