upgrading from a R1900, not sure whats best for my needs....
maybe you should conside Sevicing the R1900 by a technician since its a VERY good printer indeed and beetween R1900 and R2000 nothing really changed
Papers gripper part is really cheap to replace, what i do is lubricating the papper grippe with pure vaseline, alcohol is a bad choice since it dries the rubber out,
i recently purchased a R1900 for 250€ (appro 340 USD) in perfect working condition with 22 original sealed ink cartriges. i bought it at price for the cartriges.
Now I am in the process replacing the ink with refillabe catriges and OCP inks.
A weekly self done maintenance will prolong you R1900 lifecycle at least for more than 3 year I guess...
an another printer such as the 3880 Pro could be a good addition to your Gloss printing mean machine.
