Why is Four Thirds format 17.3x13mm instead of 18x13.5mm?

Interesting, Guy. That's some cool info. I had no idea there were this many RAW converters out there! By my calculations the highest res possible from the E-300 means it's saving 17.8mm horizontally to the RAW file. Not quite the 18mm of the 4/3", but a lot closer than I thought. "Engineering reasons" hehe.
