Regardless of ISO (which, by the way, you are wrong on), the D7100 has problems other than noise at high ISO - similar to the NEX-7 it suffers from a flatness that is visually unappealing.

Also, I'm afraid you are simply wrong about sharpness too. Some of that may be lens based, but not all.

Have you considered that we aren't all crazy and your analysis is simply flawed? I mean, I use and have used a lot of other cameras and I still hold this opinion of x-trans results... I think a lot of other participants in this forum are in the same boat.
