Short telephoto for landscape.

I am trying to reduce the weight of my landscape gear. I carry three zoom lenses, a wide angle, (Sigma 10-20) and standard zoom (Sigma 17-50) and a telephoto zoom (Nikon 70-300).

The 70-300 is a nice lens but it is a little heavy. I only use it out to about 150mm for landscapes. The other issue is that not having a tripod collar it doesn't balance all that well used on a tripod.

The 70-200 f4 would solve the last point (with the optional tripod collar) but this is heavier still.

The ideal would be something smaller and lighter with he same or better image quality that just goes out to about 150mm FL. There is a Sigma 50-150 but its is heavy f2.8 lens.

Does anyone have any suggestions ? (preferably polite ones)
