E5 with the EC14 and 70-300
3

It was a beautiful day for photography today in northern NJ.  There were no clouds, 70 degrees with a cool breeze.  I went into my wife's garden to photograph the normal Hummingbirds, woodpeckers and butterflies with my EC14 + 50-200.  However, none were to be found.  They had all either gone south for the winter or taken the day off.  The only things there were small bees and a few white butterflies.  All were too small and moved too quickly to allow me to approach closely enough with the EC14 + 50-200.  Solution, substitute the 70-300, keep the EC14 and set aperture preferred F9 and ISO 400 to get the needed focal length.  Just a couple from today.
