They are your pictures, what dont you like about them?  Is there supposed to be something in the image that cant be seen?  Maybe the focus is soft.. I would guess that your pictures beat anyones cell phone in the same light.

Sometimes  dark preserves the mood.  You don't always have to turn the dark into day.  I think that it depends on if you got what you wanted.

That aside, there are certainly details which could be pulled up. Maybe the color balance could be adjusted, but that seems subjective.
