I don't know why people have referred to this effect as "enlarged irises." The WHOLE eyeball would have to swell dangerously in the socket to produce this extraordinary appearance. As it happens, of course, glaucoma is caused by raised pressure /swelling in the eye....[??]

And I think the Sony picture is "creepy"

I am sure the poor model is not to happy about it either.
