Night of the Tripods (9/11 Tribute in Light)

I wanted to capture another year with the tribute lights at NYC's ground zero (9/11). Early on I could go out and I'd see a few photographers plying their craft. . . but as the years progressed the amount of photographers I'd see would increase significantly. So besides being a night of rememberance, that night afaic is The Night Of The Tripods, as one will see more photographers toting them than just about any other day of the year (maybe save for July 4th fireworks).

Anyway - if you were out and about this year's Tribute in Light, show 'em if you got 'em, if you would be so inclined.

The first attempt, from my roof in 2008 (this was the test run on 9/10)

Canon 20D, two shots (one zoomed during exposure) blended

Last night

Still using that outdated E-M5 [g], this and the next are defished Rokinon 7.5/3.5 exposures

And one of the Manhattan Bridge, just because it was there. [g]
