Yes, I have Scott's book on LR. I like his writing stye - easy to understand. In fact, I have told quite a few people about the trick to hold down the "Alt" key while doing the sharpening and noise sliders. It shows which pixels you are affecting in a black and white format. It is especially effective for controlling noise without losing details. (Uh oh, guess I'm pontificating.)
