Already many compact lenses to choose from.

The SL1/100D already can have many compact lenses mounted on it:

  • Voigtlander 20mm f3.5 SL II. Lovely metal built pancake. MF only, but a joy to use.
  • Voigtlander 28mm f2.8 SL II. Lovely metal built pancake. MF only, but a joy to use and makes for a lovely "standard prime" on APS-C.
  • Voigtlander 40mm f2 SL II. Lovely metal built pancake. MF only, even a bit nicer than the Canon 40mm (nicer bokeh).
  • Canon EF 40mm f2.8 STM. Nice and compact pancake.
  • Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM (A). Nice big aperture standard prime.
  • Canon EF 24mm f2.8 (and 24mm f2.8 IS USM). Compact primes with good optics.
  • Canon EF 35mm f2 (and 35mm f2 IS USM). Compact standard primes with good optics.
  • Tokina 35mm f2,8 DX macro. Discontinued, but a compact and nice 1:1 macro and standard prime.
  • Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II. Light, cheap and compact, usable for shorter portrait lens.

For portrait primes, the Tamron 60mm f2 Di II macro and Canon EF-S f2.8 USM Macro are nice and compact also.
