Mark, It seems to me like you have already answered your own question.  If the camera is for travel, and weight is a concern, and you like to shoot wildlife, then the E-M1 seems to be your answer.  I currently own the E-5 and a number of Oly lenses and also the Bigma.  I love to shoot wildlife as well.  Just last week I purchased the a99 and the Sony 28-75mm f/2.8 zoom lens.  I also ordered the 70-400mm G2 and expect to receive it this week.  I haven't really had a chance to use the a99 yet.  I purchased the a99 because I was disappointed that Olympus was not releasing a direct E-5 replacement (E-7).  I am excited about the possibilities of my new a99, but I am definitely keeping my E-5 for the extra reach, when I need it, for wildlife.  Both a systems are capable of delivering extremely high quality photos, at least IMHO.  Good luck with whatever you end up with!  Regards, Dean
