P shoots Namibia

For long we have been engaging in healthy competition as regards photography. I must admit that when it comes to composition and capturing the atmosphere of the scenery, she usually gains the upper hand, thanks to her art education in high school. What holds her back is the lack of technical knowledge and post processing skills, or else she would fly high.

This time in addition to her usual trusty rusty DLux4, I have given her a Nikon V1 for a longer reach, obviously for shooting the wildlife. In no minute, she has got used to the longer focal length and has been doing well with it. In the Damara and Himba villages, she has demonstrated a skillful use of the telephoto in singling out her subjects, which is very different from her usual Robert Caputo approach in people shots when she uses her DLux4.
