Here are a few examples of the banding correction with Topaz DeNoise:

ISO6400 with correction is equivalent to about ISO1600 (dark shadows), > ISO3200 (bright shadows)

Lightroom:
whitebalance=2900/+1, vignetting=40/25
ISO1600 detail: s=20/1.5/30;n=40/70;c=15
ISO3200 detail: s=15/1.5/25;n=50/70;c=15
ISO6400 detail: s=10/1.8/25;n=50/70;c=15

Here is an example for the correction of wide bands:

(left) ISO6400 (right) ISO6400 after correction. Wide bands still visible.

Here is an example for the correction of narrow bands with two different frequencies. The frequency in the right part of the image is about 3.5 columns. The image has been magnified by 2x. 100% view shows 200% view of the original image.

(top) before correction, (bottom) after correction. Efficient correction of bands with different frequencies.

Many thanks for the additonal information and examples in this reply and the previous one. They are very helpful. I am sure others will appreciate them too!
